There were no issues finding a place to park in Park City! But first, a little background and update about how 2023 has gone.
We returned to NC, a little bummed that we only got to ski four out of seven days over Christmas. The kids and Jay finished up the first semester of school. We continued work on the basement of the Roan (it is all but finished). Parker and his friend Dustin accompanied Kristie on a business trip to Orlando where they took in all all that Orlando has to offer. Jay went to Conway and, he and Stan enjoyed watching the events of the Chinese spy balloon unfold right above their heads. Jay and Parker met Jay’s friend David for a day of fun at Beach Mountain, NC. Parker continues to practice driving and has even mastered driving Jay’s manual transmission truck. Before we knew it, March was drawing to a close and it was time for spring break.
Since we had three days left on our lift tickets, we decided that we should use them. Fortunately, Utah has had an unusual ski season with lots of snow. We flew out and caught some of the best conditions that we have ever had with very few people.
We capped off the last few days of spring break at Roan Mountain where Jay and the kids assembled furniture and worked at getting the basement ready.
